World Ozone Day - 2026
World Ozone Day was observed on 16th September, 2026. As part of the observance, a poster-making competition was conducted for the students on the theme “Global Action for a Cooler Planet.” A student seminar on ozone layer protection and environmental conservation was presented by Mrs. Lakshmi M. K. The seminar highlighted the importance of the ozone layer, the causes and effects of ozone depletion, and the need for collective action to protect the environment. The programme encouraged prospective teachers to develop environmental awareness and actively contribute to the protection of the environment.
